Nikon D800 test photos
Nikon D800 sample photos : The D800 is Nikon’s new FX-format digital SLR camera. The camera has a durable, dust, and water resistant body made of magnesium alloy, and it is a bit compacter and lighter than its predecessor, the D700. The 36.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and the powerful Expeed 3 image processing system shall mostly attract studio and landscape photographers. The Nikon D800 captures unprecedented depth and detail both indoors and outdoors. The camera has a sensitivity range of ISO 50 - 25,600. Even at high sensitivities, the Nikon D800 performs exceptionally well. Additionally, the optical viewfinder offers 100% image coverage, which makes it pleasure to shoot with the D800.
As we can expect from a professional Full Frame camera, the Nikon D800 is equipped with the latest technologies. The Nikon D800’s optical low-pass filter is optimized for sharpness. This filter helps reduce inaccurate colors and moiré pattern, although this often costs some sharpness, but that is not the case for the D800. Just like D4, Nikon has also equipped the D800 with an advanced system for subject recognition. An RGB sensor with 91K pixels analyzes each subject precisely. The sensor can even detect people’s faces when shooting with the viewfinder, the AF system can then follow the subject, for razor-sharp shots. In combination with 3D color matrix metering III, the Nikon D800 also captures perfectly lit photos. The Nikon D800 delivers outstanding image quality with an enormous dynamic range and beautiful color representation.
